Project memory and useful next steps after a meeting

Six Mac beta builds brought project context, follow-up drafts and audio quotes. On iPhone and Apple Watch, work continued on archive search, Russian localization and recording reliability.

  • A meeting summary can now use the project's notes and summaries of earlier meetings in the project or with the same tag. The context can be disabled in project settings. If you use a cloud summary provider, this extra context is sent to that provider too.
  • Daisy gives a meeting a short title after summarizing it, without replacing a calendar title or one you wrote yourself. You can also rename a recording directly in the Library list; Esc cancels the edit.
  • Next steps can be inserted into the app you were using, sent to a connected destination, or opened as a prefilled issue in GitHub, Linear or Jira. A recap email can be prepared for meeting attendees. These are actions you choose, not automatic messages to other people.
  • Share Quote exports selected transcript lines with the speaker and timestamp, optionally alongside the same stretch of audio. When a Mac updates a summary, it preserves unchanged next steps and their statuses from iPhone, as well as the phone's existing speaker separation.
  • Imported recordings show transcription progress. The menu bar counts down to the next meeting, the sidebar Update button installs a downloaded update, and Settings tabs stay on their own screens. Bluetooth capture also handles a silent start from the other participant more reliably.

In testing on iPhone and Apple Watch

  • Ask searches across the iPhone's meeting archive and answers with links back to the source moments. Search runs locally; generating an answer uses the selected cloud service. This is not an entirely offline question-answering feature.
  • The internal builds gained project memory and meeting titles, Russian interface improvements, integrity checks for downloaded models, and fixes for interrupted recordings and duplicate Watch transfers. The latest October 2–4 phone changes passed automated and simulator checks, but still need physical-device testing.
  • Apple Watch records with its own microphone and transfers the audio to iPhone; it does not transcribe on the watch. iPhone is for in-person conversations and voice notes, not capturing system audio, phone calls, FaceTime or Zoom audio.

Next

  • Physical-device checks for calls and Siri during recording, AirPods route changes, recovery after a lost Watch connection, and sync conflicts between devices. Russian interface copy also needs a complete review before public mobile availability is announced.
