A steadier Mac release, with iPhone and Watch taking shape

This week brought a stable Mac update, a smaller follow-up beta, and a lot of reliability work on the private iPhone and Apple Watch builds.

Daisy 1.0.8.11 is now stable. Bluetooth call mode no longer silences the other side, missed audible stretches get another transcription pass, and switching microphones no longer shifts your speech on the timeline.
Recording diagnostics now show the actual levels and devices in use. A downloaded update can also be installed directly from the Daisy menu.

Beta 1.0.8.14 keeps all Settings tabs reachable in narrow windows, cleans up Library controls, and preserves speaker names when a recording moves from iPhone to Mac.
Vocabulary changes now sync between Mac and iPhone through iCloud, while each Mac keeps a local copy for times when iCloud is unavailable.

The iPhone build records in-person meetings and voice notes, then transcribes and separates speakers on-device. You can name voices, continue an existing recording, import audio or video, and move the session on to the Mac.
The Watch build records with its own microphone even without the phone nearby. A 1 hour 48 minute recording has made the trip to iPhone; transfer recovery and the visible delivery states are still being hardened.
These mobile builds are not public in the App Store yet. The iPhone does not capture system audio, calls, FaceTime or Zoom audio; the Watch does not transcribe on-device.

Next up is reliability under interruptions: calls and Siri during a recording, AirPods route changes, delayed transcription when the model is unavailable, and Watch-to-iPhone delivery after a lost connection.
After that comes the first real TestFlight group. We will name it here when access is actually open.
